Weekend Recap

Its Monday.  I hope you all had a nice weekend.  This weekend was a good one for me.  I had a Saturday morning Yoga class.  Met a really nice older lady (at yoga) named Sharon who lives within walking distance from me.  I love meeting nice neighbors!  Well, turns out Sharon is buying a new trampoline to work out on.  She offered up her old one to me, and I am now the proud owner of a trampoline!  Ive actually been wanting one for a while.  My kids are super excited!  And upon inspection I realized its actually an exercise tool for adults.  The whole family will enjoy this new toy.
My niece Noelya came over and we got to spend some quality time. Later her dad Greg came by, and we had an impromptu BBQ.  So much fun!
Ive been working on my Home To-Do List.  One thing I'd like to do is get my kids bunk beds.  I'd like to have them share a room, and free up a bedroom to use as Noah's office/studio.  My daughter's loft bed was donated to my niece and her dad was able to load it up and take it away on saturday.
Saturday night I went out with one of my H.S besties Marilyn F.  Marilyn was even part of my Sweet 16 entourage!  Ive known this girl a long time. And spending time with good old friends is always so cozy and effortless.  They've seen you thru many stages and they still like you.  Thats a good feeling.

Sunday was mellow.  We all went to the market.  Came home, watched movies, and had yummy chicken tacos made by Noah. YUM! he also made some very tasty sour orange and rum cocktails!  All in all this was my kind of weekend. Got things done, got rid of and acquired items and spent quality time with friends and family.  Whats your ideal weekend look like?

Welcome

First post of the blog! I really just want to say thank u to my dear and beautiful girlfriend Gina from LaLaMamma for designing my blog. Some of you may have read my previous blogs as well, to you I say thanks for following me here. If this is your first time reading my musings I say: Be patient with me. My writing is very real. It perfectly matches who I truly am. Most of the time I have too many thoughts, and its hard for me to find direction. Writing is my vehicle, it sets me on a path of self discovery and adventure. For me doing things alone is not always as fun as doing things with friends. So come on, lets go!
